Nancy Russell

RUSSELL Nancy Jean Russell, 55, of Jacksonville, FL, went home to be with her Lord on November 29, 2011 at Orange Park Medical Center as a result of an accident. The family will receive friends to celebrate the life of this vibrant and wonderful sister, homemaker and friend at First Assembly of God Church of Orange Park, 1324 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073 on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with services immediately following. Arrangements are being handled by Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233. Nancy was born in Honolulu, HI, and was a devoted and caring nurse for many years. Nancy is survived by her sister, Marsha Reep of Knoxville, TN; her brothers, Randolph Russell of Naperville, IL; Raymond Russell of Austin, TX; Robert Russell of Charlotte, NC; Richard Russell of North Charleston, SC and her half-brother, Roderick Russell of Launceston, Tasmania, as well as, numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces. She was especially close to her niece, Stephanie Stringer of Madisonville, TN. She also leaves behind her longtime companion, Karl Elmore of Jacksonville. Her caring spirit as a nurse will touch many more lives as she was an organ and tissue donor.
