Paul Davidson Obituary

DAVIDSON Paul Edward Davidson Junior was born on November 13, 1921 in Birmingham, Alabama, where he attended local schools. He was a student at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, until World War II at which time he joined the U.S. Navy, becoming a U.S. Marine flier until the end of the war. He completed his education and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Wheatly Davidson and his three dearly loved children and nine grandchildren: Paul E. Davidson III and his wife Margie Davidson of Atlantic Beach and children Annika and Katrina; Corrine Davidson Aycock and her husband Edmund Aycock of Raleigh, NC and their children Wheatly, Leighton and Worth; Claud Wheatly Davidson and his wife Soon of Herndon, VA and children Leigh, Sara, Julie and Carolyn. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Monday, May 13th at St. Marks Episcopal Church Chapel, where Mr. Davidson was a communicant and former Sunday School teacher, Superintendent of Sunday School, and Lay Reader. Memorials may be made to St. Johns Terrace Home, 2751 St. Johns Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. Please sign the Guestbook at Jacksonville.com
