Paul Rothstein Obituary
Paul Lewis Rothstein, 87, passed away on 12/21/2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on June 18, 1933
Paul graduated from Rutgers University, served in the Air Force, taught high school American History before starting his own computer consulting firm. He retired to Jacksonville to be near his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center, an avid golfer and was the senior champion at Deer Creek Country Club where he lived with his wife Lorraine. He supported River Garden Hebrew Home, Hadassah Hospital and the Wounded Warrior Program.
We extend our condolences to his wife Lorraine "Lorry", daughter Tracy; son Dr. Mitchell (Diane) Rothstein; grandchildren Adam, Nina and Sophie Rothstein; brothers Ralph and Neil; cousin Mark (Geri) Rothstein; sister-in-law Gloria Binenstock; and nephews Dr. Lon (Jacque) Gieser, Kenny (Reiko) Gieser, Alan (Vivienne) Binenstock, Todd Binenstock and Jordan Binenstock.
A burial for Paul was held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn. A video of the service may be viewed at https://youtu.be/IRjhWXPdFKM . The family request donation be made in Paul's memory to Wounded Warrior Project. River Garden Hebrew Home for the Aged and The Hadassah Hospital.
