I worked for Richard and Sadie in the early 1990's. They always treated me great. It was a pleasure to work for them.

Dear Family:
I know that there have been many stressful nights, for Richard, in the school bus business..we certainly did not look at the big picture, subsequently, but beleive me Richard is looking at the ENTIRE PICTURE NOW...AND HE'S LOVING IT!!GIVING GOD ALL OF THE GLORY THE HONOR AND THE ALL THE PRIASE...BUT May God add a special to the Sadie and her children. Richard is safe seated upon the right hand of God, hopin that each of you are making strides positively to see him again...
Sadie, your husband was a man who live a full life and he was a well liked person. That's always good to hear in times like there...

Dear Sadie, Pat, Catherine, Elaine, Shirley, Ricky & Timmy,
I certainly don't have to tell you what a class act Richard L. Minton was but there are a few things that I must say. It was an honor to have been counted among Richards close friends and a pleasure to be included in so many of the celebrations in the life of a man who truly enjoyed living to the fullest. It was a joy to know this wonderful man on a professional and a personal basis and I will forever treasure all of the memories of the good times (and some bad) that we shared. I am so thankful for the last visit that we had and so sad that there won't be any more but I am grateful that I had the opportunity to know this lovely human being who was truly a man in every sense of the word.
Love,
Wade

Mrs. Sadie Minton & Family,
Please know that you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers.
Mr. Richard L. Minton will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I have always been extremely impressed by the incredible good manners exhibited by all of the members of the Minton family. In a time when so few people practice any semblance of graciousness, the gentility displayed by your children is of great credit to you and will always pay honor to the memory of their father and the gentleman that he was.

I was so stunned to hear of Mr. Minton's passing. I had just talked with you all the week before, with plans to stop by and visit him. I have always considered him and his family as friends, for nearly 19 years now. Please know that I will keep you all in my prayers during this time of sorrow. God Bless you all.
