My grandfather was the kindest person I have ever met. He had a quick wit and sharp tongue. He was caring and nurturing. If ever my broth or I had questions he would always be there to answer them; the answers weren't always accurate but they were always fun to look forward to. He taught me to be a better person, to treat those around me with kindness, no matter the attitude of the other person. He was always there when I needed him. Some of the best memories come from the wonders in his garage, trips on base, or just relaxing in the family room. I will never not miss him but I am a better person for having him in my life. I love you Papa. We all miss you.

I served with Bob in 1954 when we were attached to fighter squadron 51 at NAS Miramar and aboard the USS Phil Sea. I recall Bob, as we knew him, being an excellent Aviation Electrician Mate and a happy good natured shipmate. Many years later, probably 1970, we crossed paths briefly, against NAS Miramar. We both were then serving as commissioned Officers USN. Our visit was a quick sharing of old times telling a couple of sea stories. I am sorry for Bob's passing and Iknow he was an asset to the Navy and service to his country. My condolences to his family.

Dear Rusty, Steff, Sally, and Families,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Bob will certainly be missed. We will have the memories of parking in your yard, all of us joking around your table, and the quiet demeanor he had. Allen has thought quite often these past few months, of his Nam roommate, and many other times, in his mind. He is resting well and peaceful now. Time for you Rusty, to take care of yourself.
Love,
Al and Kitty
