Dear Carol,

Please aaccept my deepest sympathy on one of life's most painful passages; the loss of a beloved husband.

Although we have not seen one another since our Sunday School/MYF days, more than sixty years ago, I am sure that you have remained the same quiet, considerate, well-mannered lady I have always remembered.

Again, my condolences to you and your family at this time of loss.

Dear Carol,

I never met your husband, but I have known Noble and your sisters since high school. Noble was in my 12th grade English class. I worked with your mother at IRS for many years before I left to be a mother. I took an economics class with Kathy at FCCJ. Everything I ever knew about the Enge's was very nice so I know your husband was a very nice man. God bless you and your family and comfort you in your loss.

Dear Scott family: I was a young teen at Christ Church, Charlotte, when Taylor served there as an assistant pastor in the mid-1960's. I remember very clearly his gentle manner, amused observance and support of the Youth Group, and his very intellectual sermons, which I struggled to grasp. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
