My condolences to the family-- Sandy used to cut my grass many years ago (he did a wonderful job by the way)-- One day he called me outside and asked me if i wanted to see a picture of his pride and joy i was thinking he was going to show me a picture of his wife, grandchildren etc.. but he showed me a picture of joy dishwashing liquid w/ the word pride next to it---He was a unique individual and though i didnt talk to him very much i got the impression that he was a wonderful and fun person to be around --- the world needs more people like Sandy-- I guess it is true GOD always takes the good ones-- GOD has a special place for him

Lois, and family,
I never knew you personally, I had the pleasure of working with your husband for the better part of three and a half years. He used to always leave his speaker on when he had his nextel on. When he would come into the store, I would always mess with him in one way or another. It didn't matter if he was with his Boss or if he was just hanging out. I would blurt out something crazy on his phone and wait for his crazy reaction when he found me and always... He would tell me "I'ma bust you!" or "I'll slap ya in your callahan fried chicken mouth". I used to joke with him about coming to work with " Jerry Gentile on a motorbike with a sidecart".. with him in the sidecart. We had so much fun at the lane ave. store. This is a man that I will always remember for having so much life and always bringing a smile to every face that he made contact with. He had a special gift of laughter and the uncanny abilility to give it to others when they needed it most. He made work fun, He made moments fun, he made life fun... I am a greater person by simply knowing this man and I thank him and you for giving me a special place in my heart to remember a man of his caliber. I think if Sandy would have wanted to leave something behind besides of being a great father and and a great husband it would make his day to make another smile by simply a kind word or action to bring a happy or pleasent moment to another by his simple remarks..... D.I.T.Y.... "Did I tell Ya?" I'ma Buss You!!! I will always think of him and keep him close to my Heart... And everytime I pick up my Nextel... I'm sure Ill look for him to.... Thank him, Thank GOD, and thank you for the previledge to know him... Always in mine and my families prayers... God bless you and your family.. I will always miss you Sandy!!!

He loved his wife, sons, family, friends and his job. He was passionate about people and made friends where ever he went. He made his self available for anyone that needed a helping hand. He since of humor was truly legendary.

• Mayonnaise, Man they is going to be a lot of people who are going to miss you.
• “I got to go, I said.”
• “Have you been working out lately? I didn’t think so.”
• “You going to eat all of that?”
• “Water with extra lemon, please.”
• “Did I tell ya?”
• “Did you hear about the guy driving a bicycle down Normandy with a penguin in the basket?”
• “I’m going to bust you”

We’re going to miss you.

Phyllis - Know that my heart is with you. Having only known Sandy a couple of years, I must say he was a very unique, warm, generous man. He will be truly missed for his sense of humor and the all around great guy that he was. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh especially when pushing the remote for his bike, while standing quite a distance away and watching the reactions of those standing near his bike as it lowered unexpectedly. He cracked himself up every single time he pulled that stunt. We laughed more at his laughter than at others reactions to he had done. He was the Allan Funt (Candid Camera) of Buffalo's. There are so many wonderful memories & will always be remembered with a smile. Even though he is gone, and it is truly sad, you just gotta laugh when you think of some of the things he said & did. He will be missed - but never forgotten. Sandy David Baumwald - priceless! May God bless you and watch over you.

Dear Juanita and Phyllis, I am so sorry for your loss. You and all the family have been in my prayers. As you know my days with Sandy go back to high school. I always remember Sandy being such a HUGE FLIRT. He had such a great sense of humor and a huge smile for everyone that came his way. He was loved by everyone that knew him. I know you will face a big loss in your lives, but trust in the Lord. Lean on HIM and HE will give you the strength you need to meet each day. I love y'all and will keep praying for you and Sandy's family.

We were "The Outlaws"...that's what Sandy called us. We both married into the Hinson Family and therefore, outlaws. He was my go to guy at all family functions. As soon as he saw me, he'd say "Hey Outlaw ,how you?". You could always find us on the couch talking or sitting next to each other eating during the family get togethers; Christmas, Anniversaries, Summers...you name it. We'd sit there and make jokes and talk about comedians and family and everything under the sun. It was an honor to be an Outlaw with Sandy. I consider myself extremly blessed to have had the opportunity to know him, thanks to our wonderful extended family. I only knew him a short time compared to the lifetime with his loving family, but I will love and miss him for the rest of my life.

Lois, David, Trevor, Shane, Miss Juanita and Phylis, other family, friends and neighbors, please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. We keep listening for his voice calling from across the street; always joking around about how "hard work never hurt anyone." It's so difficult to grasp that we won't hear that big mouth again. It has been our great pleasure to have been able to get to know him since we moved in across the street, last year. The grass is getting tall again, and it will be hard to work in our front yard, weed, pick up tree branches, trim the shrubs without hearing him yell "it's about time," from accross the street. It is our prayer in sure and certain hope, that the peace of God, which surpasses understanding will guard your hearts and minds. Peace and Grace, Kendall and John

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glaze of snow;

I am the sun light in ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn rain;

When you awaken in the morning
I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circle flights;

I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there, I did not die.
