Suzanne Guadagno Obituary

GUADAGNO Suzanne Guadagno, 62 of Ponte Vedra Beach passed away peacefully at her home September 27, 2003 following a brief illness. She was born February 3, 1941 in Newburgh, New York, to William Hugh and Helen Elizabeth Houston and moved to Ponte Vedra 18 years ago. She retired from First Union Bank and traveled extensively with her husband. Suzanne attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Family members include her husband, Michael John Guadagno; daughters, Christine (Seymour) Martin of Conway, S.C. and Lisa (David Patrick) Paul of Jacksonville; sisters, Barbara Pointer of Richmond, VA and Amy Finnegan of New Windsor, NY, four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her brother, William Houston, predeceased her. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 30th in the Quinn-Shalz Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 1st in the Cultural Center of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with the Reverend Christopher Liguori as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. Mike,Lisa,Christy...I have known all of you for close to 20 years...and I am so sorry for the loss you must be feeling right now....I considered Sue like a second mom...and she will be truly missed....God Bless all of you...
