Theresa Conley Obituary

CONLEY Theresa Conley, 57, Postmaster of Georgetown, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Theresa was born in Winter Haven, Florida. She was a 1966 graduate of Paxon High School in Jacksonville. She was raised in and was a member of Biltmore Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Mrs. Conley had lived in Georgetown since 1987, moving there from Jacksonville, and was Postmaster of Georgetown Post Office in Georgetown. She was a member of the Ladies of the Crescent City Moose Lodge 1641. Theresa is survived by her husband, Sandy Conley of Georgetown, two sons, Steven Conley (Laura) of Palatka, Florida, and Greg Conley of Georgetown, one sister, Gloria Morohovich (Richard) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mother, Hazel Reeves of Georgetown. One granddaughter, Sarah Conley also survives. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Georgetown United Methodist Church, Georgetown, Florida. Reverend George Zimmerman will officiate. Interment will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, 2006 in the chapel of Clayton Frank & Biggs Funeral Home, Crescent City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Haven Hospice of Palatka, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Florida 32177. I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Conley passing. It has been many years since I have seen her but I can still remember living on Batley Road with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with your family .
