I am related to Tom through marriage. His son, Peter, is married to my sister. I have fond memories of Tom since my teenage years. He had remained friends and neighbors with my father all these years, after they lost their wives. Always a big smile and friendly person who knew how to brighten your day. Tom will be dearly missed. Rest In Peace ❤

Tom was my barber for 32 years. Took both of my sons to Tom for their first haircuts and many thereafter. Surprised Tom when one of my sons requested a "Cookiebush" cut but he executed it perfectly.
In his later years operating the shop, I went there more for the entertainment and camaraderie, and oh yes, a haircut. I was totally honored when he attended my 60th surprise birthday party.
Tom will be long remembered and sorely missed.

Tom started cutting my hair in 1955. Over the years he gave me lots of barbershop advice. When I was 17 years old I joined the Navy and he told me that I should take a set of hair clippers with me and cut hair on the ship. He sold me a set of Andes professional hair clippers for $10. I used those clippers to cut hair while we were out to sea and I made a lot of extra money. What he actually gave me was confidence. He helped me realize that I could do anything I set my mind to. Eventually I graduated from law school at the University of Florida. I owe to Tom I’ll great deal of credit for my success. The last time he cut my hair before he retired I told him how much I appreciated his advice.
