Truman Clute Obituary

CLUTE Truman C. Clute III, 67, of Greensboro NC, passed away at his home on February 15, 2002. Graveside services will be held at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM at the graveside. The family invites friends to join them Monday evening from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Mr. Truman was a member of Leaksville United Methodist Church in Eden, NC. He was in the automobile business for most of his life in both NC and FL. Survivors are wife Carolyn of the home; daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Charlie Barton of Eden, NC; sons and daughter-in-law Truman IV and Linda Clute of St. Paul, MN, Glenn and Helen Clute of Nashville, TN, David Clute of the US Army, Craig and Terry Gibson of Greenville, NC and Christopher and Rhonda Gibson of Greensboro, NC; eleven grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Maggie Clute of Bostic, NC; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and George Whittenberg of Orange Park, FL; best friend and Yankie brother Ed Kilner of Green Cove Springs, FL. Mr. Clute will be greatly missed by his family, extended family and many, many friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave. Greensboro, NC 27405.
