William Golson Obituary

GOLSON Celebration services for Elder William Lewis Golson, Sr., will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2005 at Ephesus S.D.A. Church, Elder Claude Matthews, pastor and officiating. Mr. Golson leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife of 69 years, Marguerite Jackson Golson; sons, William L. Golson, Jr., (Esther), David Golson (Carolyn), and Mark Golson (Lynne); daughters, Joyce Southall (Hardin), Harriett Taylor, Claudia Johnson (Ronnie), Hazel Jenkins, and Rheutelia Mills; a sister, Rosalee Lomas; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends. Mr. Golson will rest in his church for the visitation of friends one hour before the service. Arrangements are entrusted to: Weston's Mortuary, 3027 Myrtle Avenue. Hal E. Weston, F.D.I.C., Roger D.
