CLIFTON WILCOX Obituary
He was born September 17, 1930, in Wellsboro, to the late Richard and Gladys Wilcox.
He moved to Frostproof from Pennsylvania in 1998. Clifton was a truck driver for 45 years before retiring, and he served with the United States Army in Korea.
He was a member of the South Lake Wales Church of God.
During his younger years, he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and building model trucks. Clifton enjoyed getting in his golfcart and watching the traffic on Highway 27. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family.
Clifton was preceded in death by his wife, Alida Wilcox in 2022; brothers: Paul and Hoard Wilcox; sister: Lottie Wilcox; and his half-sister: Millie Moore.
He is survived by daughters: Kathy Compton (Mark) of Arizona, and Joan Wilcox of Frostproof, Fla.; son: Robert Wilcox (Kimberly) of Wellsboro; sister: Hattie Wilson; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
