JAY WEIDMAN Obituary
Jay graduated from Cowanesque Valley High School in 1959 and from the former Williamsport Technical Institute in 1962.
He worked for Eastern Industries for 20 years and then retired in 2006 from Supt. Quarry, Lewisburg.
Jay married Kaye (Linder) on June 1, 1963, at Butler Hill Baptist Church, and they shared 61 years together until her passing on September 30, 2024. He enjoyed running heavy equipment, hunting, camping, tinkering and keeping his vehicles clean.
Jay is survived by son, Mike (Karen) Weidman of Ulysses; daughter, Terri (Terry) Patterson of Westfield; grandchildren, Travis Patterson of Westfield, Brett Weidman of Durham, N.C., Patrick Weidman of Raleigh, N.C. and Ashley Weidman of Schoeneck, Pa. and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Hogan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kaye; brother, Dale Weidman and granddaughter, Trisha Patterson.
A Celebration of Jay's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home.
