JOHN DEMING Obituary

John "Jack" A. Deming, Jr., 74, of Lawrenceville, went to join his wife, Judy and his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
He was born on July 25, 1940, in Elmira, N.Y. to John A. Sr., and Elizabeth (Woodford) Deming.
A 1958 graduate of Williamson High School, Tioga, he married the girl with the greatest smile in school, Judy Ann Adriance in 1960. Jack was employed by Ingersoll Rand and Dresser Rand in Painted Post, N.Y., as a CNC Programmer for 42 years until his retirement in 2002.
Jack was an active member of the East Lawrence Baptist Church and was baptized in the Tioga River as a youth. In his late twenties, Jack's love of precision rifle accuracy led him to the sport of Benchrest Shooting. His competitive spirit and drive led him to winning several national championships and many world records. He was a past president of the South Creek Rod & Gun Club and past president of International Benchrest Shooters. When his eyesight began to fail he started restoring John Deere Tractors and showing them; showing soon became boring and he graduated to pulling tractors and building competition engines up until his passing. There is a special ranch in central Montana that was near and dear to his heart. The elk and white tailed deer hunting were spectacular and he took some superb trophies. In his later years the month of May was spent with his wife Judy on nearby lakes fishing crappie with great success. Jack and Judy are well remembered by their church family and friends for their delicious, fun time crappie fish fries.
Jack is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jacqueline "Jackie" and Tim Snyder of Painted Post, N.Y.; Amy Deming of St. James City, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mario Trizzino, Jessie Horton; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and George Stickler of Lawrencville. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy, on May 6, 2015.
Family and friends are invited to call at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, on Monday, July 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A joint funeral service for Jack and Judy Deming will be held on Tuesday, July 14 at 5 p.m., East Lawrence Baptist Church, E. Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville, with the Rev. G. Victor Perry officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Cemetery following the joint funeral service. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com

Our hearts and thoughts are with family and friends. Jack and Judy both were wonderful people that cared about everyone. We don't think there's a soul out there that hasn't been touched by their beautiful spirits.

To Joanna & George, the Deming and Adriance families;
I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing because the world is minus another beautiful person and yet he's with the Lord and Judy now and that makes his passing a bit less sorrowful.

Amy and Jackie, they are together again and can enjoy Gods' heavenly home for them together. May the pain and sorrow of your loss be replaced with all the wonderful memories your parents have given you, they will never go away.

Amy and Jackie... I worked with Jack for years at the Rand... followed family events through FB for years... I am truly sorry that you are enduring this tragic loss of both parents in such short time... but knowing how brave they both were through their struggles, and how much they loved one another... I just know God has allowed them to be together again... please accept my deepest sympathies, and know my prayers are for your strength and healing in the coming future...
