SANDRA TROWBRIDGE

1950 - 2010

Surrounded by her six daughters and her faithful dog Dottie, Sandra K. Trowbridge, of Milliken, Colo., peacefully died on Saturday, May 1, 2010, after battling cancer for two years.
Sandra was born on May 11, 1950, in Wellsboro, to Leland and Mary Davis King.
She grew up in Pennsylvania and married Wayne Emerson Trowbridge on Dec. 9, 1968. Sandra was known for her love of gardening. She loved baking and cooking for a large crowd, she never could cook for just two. She worked for numerous years at Bruce's Bar in Severance, Colo., doing any task put in front of her.
She is survived by her six girls, Annette and Kevin Treat of Saratoga, Wy., Dianna Trowbridge and Bill Grove of Westminster, Colo., Maria and Greg Johnson of Saratoga, Wy., Corina and Keith Hendren of Phoenix, Ariz., Amy Trowbridge and Scott Rowell of Loveland, Colo., Ann and Russell Martin of Hayden, Colo.; siblings, Melvin King of Mansfield, Linda Cochran of Wellsboro, Marjorie Bergh and Gary King, both of Middlebury Center. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her parents, Leland and Mary King; and brother, Eldon. A local memorial service will be held at the Breath of Life Fellowship Church, Little Marsh, on Sunday, Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. A luncheon will follow the service.
