WALTER MALECK Obituary
Walter was born on June 6, 1915, in Camden, N.J., the son of Martin and Frances Malec.
He is survived by his wife, Irene (Mihalik) Maleck whom he married on Columbus Day, October 12, 1960.
Prior to his retirement, Walter was employed as a machinist with Sandmeyer Steel Company, Philadelphia, PA.He enjoyed gardening and yard work – and was as active as people 30 years younger. Walter served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was the father of the late Martina Irene Johnson who passed away in 2007. Walter is survived by his wife, Irene; a son-in-law, Ronald (Laurie) Johnson; two sisters, Blanche Wishuanick and Jenny Massaro; a grandson, Ronald (Heidi) Johnson; one great-grandson, Kyle Johnson.
In keeping with Walter's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in Walter's name to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Rt. 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901. The Jacquelyn A.
