Kimberly Bambrough Obituary

KIMBERLY JANE (STEVENS) BAMBROUGH Kimberly Jane (Stevens) Bambrough, age 63, of Tipton passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 22, 1960 to her parents, Robert "Bigtime" Stevens and Judith Kay (Propes) Stevens. On June 5, 2004, Kim married the love of her life, Stephen Craig Bambrough, and the two shared 20 wonderful years together. Kim graduated from Kokomo High School in the class of 1978. Through the years she worked for Acra Line and Steel Parts in Tipton. Kim's family was always her top priority. She loved being a wife and mom, but being a Mimi was her absolute favorite gig. You could search the world and not find a better cheerleader for their grandkids. Kim refused to ever miss activities, sporting events, or quality time with her grandkids. Every moment was a gift! Kim was often called the life of the party. She was a free spirit and fun followed her everywhere she went. Kim was genuine, loving, and very loyal. She always took the time to be a listening ear for anyone who needed her. She was admired by many; not just for her authenticity, but also for the way she carried herself. She was crafty, stylish, and fashionable. She loved her animals with all her heart and took great pride in her home; always tending to her garden and flowers. To unwind, you may have found her listening to music, playing a game of Angry Birds, or escaping to the beach. To know Kim was to love her. She will be missed beyond measure! Those left to carry on Kim's legacy of love are her husband, Craig Bambrough; children, Dayna (Marshall) Reede, Cody Bambrough; grandchildren, Blayke Acord, Christien Damewood, Elizabeth Reede; brother, Michael (Maddie) Stevens; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kim is also survived by additional family members, whom she felt fortunate to find later in life. Kim was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Gene Stevens; grandparents, Wayne & Wilda Stevens, James & Pauline Propes; and best friend, Suzi Johnson. A funeral service celebrating Kim's life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N. Main St. in Tipton with Pastor Terry Querry officiating. Visitation for family & friends will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Tipton's Fairview Cemetery immediately following the service. A gathering will be held at the conclusion of burial; details will be announced at that time for all who wish to attend. Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bambrough family in their time of need. Please feel free to leave an online condolence or share a special memory of Kim with her family on her tribute wall.
