Anna Hudanich Obituary

Mrs. Anna Theresa Hudanich

Mrs. Anna Theresa (Gimbor) Hudanich, 95, of Columbia Avenue, Palmerton, went to her eternal rest early Sunday morning, July 20, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital's Cedar Crest Hospice Unit, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Charles Hudanich, who passed away in 2002.

Born in the former East Mauch Chunk, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Kuhla) Gimbor.

Anna Theresa was employed as a clerk by the the former A & P Grocery, Carbon County Stores, and later for JC Penney Department Store, Whitehall Township, for several years.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Church, Palmerton.

A 1948 graduate of the former East Mauch Chunk High School, Anna Theresa enjoyed traveling and attending shows and concerts. She particularly enjoyed trips to Longwood Gardens, Hershey Gardens, Sight and Sound and Lancaster County.

Surviving are daughters, Mary Ann Levandusky of Neffs; a grandson Daniel; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by sisters, Rosemarie Kochmar, Eleanor McKewan and Margaret Huegel; and brothers, Joseph, Thomas, James and John.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, Sacred Heart Church, 243 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton. Interment, parish's new cemetery, Stoney Ridge Road, Palmerton. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church. Arrangements by Campton Funeral Home, Palmerton. Contributions in her name may be made to the memorial fund of the church.
