Charlotte L. Bianchi

Charlotte L. Bianchi, 81, of Albrightsville, formerly of Ashland, died Friday in Albrightsville. She was the widow of Joseph Bianchi, who died in 1955.
She was the devoted caretaker of her great grandsons, Patrick and Reiley Costello, and had been employed as a hostess at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Frackville. Previously, she had been employed at the Reidler Kniting Mills, Ashland. Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Neetzow) Rettinger. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Ashland.A graduate of the former Ashland High School, she was also a member of the Washington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Ashland.
Surviving are two daughters, JoAnn, wife of William Wetzel of Hometown, and Donna Donahue of Newcastle, Del.; a son, John Wetzel of Hometown; a daughter in love and faith, Lori Mazur of Albrightsville; three grandchildren, Amanda, wife of Joseph Costello, with whom she resided, Belinda Donahue of Wilmington, Del, and her fiance, Kevin Beale and Matthew Wetzel of Hometown; great grandchildren, Patrick, Reiley and Dylan Costello and Madison and Riley Beale.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
