Dear Aunt Burdelle, Dwayne, Mary-Beth, and families,

I still can't believe Uncle David is gone from this earth. He was such a wonderful person that truly loved his family. I will always remember the good times our families shared: the homemade ice cream and waffles, awesome cook-outs, birthday parties, 'home movie' nights and the fun trips on his antique firetruck. I can still hear Uncle David's laugh and see his smile. I will miss the best godfather ever! Love to all of you. RIP Uncle David! Duty...honor...country...

So many people will miss him in many different ways. To each one of you, my thoughts and prayers are with you in the adjusting days ahead. God bless and love, Susan

Dear Burdelle,
Many miles away, the day comes to an end
thinking of you my far-away friend.

want to reach out & wipe the tears away
but can't reach so i'll just pray and pray.
"Dear Jesus, carry Burdelle today
there are too many miles in my way.
But i'll always have you in my heart,
where the many miles can't keep us apart"!!!
