Dolores Feller Obituary
Dolores G. Feller, a beloved mother, grandmother, and matriarch, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, in Lehighton, PA. Born on January 20, 1932, in Mauch Chunk, PA, Dolores lived a life full of love, joy, and warmth.
She was the proud mother of ten children: Debbie, Diane, Darlene, Denise, Anne, David, Danny, Donny, Butch, and Doug. A sister Beatrice Getz. 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Helena Shaffron. Dolores was renowned for her culinary skills, especially her baking. She could often be found by the coal stove, crafting fresh baked bread, sticky buns, and her famous molasses crumb pie.
Dolores was most proud of her family, often boasting about her ten children. Always ready with a stash of pictures to share, she was the heart and soul of her family. Her love and devotion to her family made her the irreplaceable matriarch of a small army. Dolores will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Jim Thorpe at 11 a.m. Calling hour 10 a.m. until the time of mass in church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Memorials, Germantown Grove Club, 1370 Germantown Rd., Jim Thorpe or CCFOA, 77 West 13th Street, Jim Thorpe, PA 18229.
