I immediately recall Mr. Featherstones laugh, whether it was the Hometown gangs antics, while talking to the family pet "Sandy you dumb dog", or while he and Mrs. were cooking something very Italian. Mrs Featherstone, Don Jr and family, I stongly empathize with your loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I look back fondly on those high school days in Hometown and the hospitality extended by the Featherstone family. Mr. Featherstone had a fine sense of humor, was always encouraging, and was very tolerant of his son's friends regularly invading their home.

The following prayer to St. Joseph has been a guidepost for my life thanks to my father:
"Hail, Dear Spouse of Mary mild,
Tender Guardian of her Child,
Joseph, best of Teachers, Hail!
This is true mainly because dad is such a great teacher. "
Dad was indeed a great life teacher for me.
His son Don.
