Frank Horvath Obituary

Frank J. Horvath, 81, formerly of Lansford, passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, in the St. Luke's Miner Memorial Hospital Geriatric Center, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Miller) Horvath, who died in 2008.
He worked for the former Fauzio Brothers and the Bethlehem Mines, and lastly, for the L.C.N Mines.
Born in Lansford, he was a son of the late Michael and Susanna (Pavlocak) Horvath.
He was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford.
Horvath was a Navy veteran.
He was a former board member of the Lansford-Coaldale Water Authority; a former member of the Lansford and Tamaqua Elks; and a member of the Lansford AMVETS.
Surviving are a son Frank, and his wife, Mary Kay, of Summit Hill; a daughter, Beth Anne, wife of John Puschak of Leola; five grandchildren, Julie Felpel, Kate Puschak, Christine Puschak, Brian Horvath and Kimberly Felty; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and John; and two sisters, Ann and Margaret.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford. Interment, St. Michael Cemetery, Summit Hill. Contributions, in his name may be made to the St. Katharine Drexel Church Memorial Fund, 124 E. Abbott St., Lansford, Pa. 18232. Arrangements by Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home, 210 E. Dear Frank, Sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I spent over 20 years working with Ringo and it was always a pleasure.
