Harold S. Post

Harold S. Post, 72, of Slatington, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Mary Pat (Griffin) Post, with whom he celebrated 39 years of marriage last October.

He was a truck driver for Georgia Pacific for many years.

Born on April 3, 1953 in Easton, he was a son of the late George J. and Evelyn (Werkheiser) Post.

He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family, especially spoiling his grandkids.

Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Harold S. Post Jr.; a daughter, Beth Ann, wife of Keith Strohl; grandchildren, Maureen J., Annie C. and Kellen W. Strohl; brothers, Richard, and his wife, Pauline, Darius, and his wife, Linda, Norman, and his wife, Lynn, Wilson, and his wife, Robin, John, and his wife, Tara, Floyd and Cyrus; a sister, Yvonne Post; a sister-in-law, Lauretta Post; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also predeceased by brothers, Raymond, George Jr., Robin and Daniel; and sisters, Doris Post and Linda Biles.
