Dear forever friend Helen, it's been eighteen years now since you returned to Heaven to rejoin your family and friends that went before. I think of you often and how kind you were to this world, always being there for us in your own unique way. Thank you for coming to our Darby Farmland Rally in terribly hot and humid west-central Ohio on Labor Day 2000 on the arm of your new husband, Nevada rancher and fellow patriot E. Wayne Hage. Thank you for extending an invitation to visit Pine Creek Ranch in Nye County, Nevada, on my way home from an American Agri-Women conference in Sparks, Nevada. There are so many dear and sweet memories of you! I'm thankful to God every day for blessing us to have known you (and Wayne)!

I knew Helen chenoweth at Capital Christian Center in Boise, and later Meridian, Idaho. She was always a very gracious sister in the LORD. As a representative in Congress she was probably the most honest elected officials in Washington. A true follower of Christ and a patriotic American. Kenneth McHenry. New York.

Yesterday it was fifteen years since your beautiful soul flew back to Heaven and I still think of you and Wayne often, knowing you're together forever and how many were awaiting your arrival! Thank you, dear friend Helen, for the precious gift of your friendship and sharing knowledge of property rights!

All the words I have at my disposal, cannot adequately express the love in my heart for this lady and "her Wayne." it's been almost ten years and yet, sometimes it seems like just yesterday when my Australian Cattle Dog, Wiggles, and I visited Helen and Wayne at their Pine Creek Ranch in Nye County, Monitor Valley, Nevada. I was on my way home to Ohio from an American Agriwomen Conference in Sparks, Nevada. I'd had the honor of meeting Helen and Wayne twice previously: at our Darby Farmland Rally on September 2nd, 2000, and at the Klamath Falls county fairgrounds in August 2001 when the Bureau of Reclamation closed the Headgates. Never was there such a thoughtful, well-educated, filled with common sense pair, and my night spent in their home was broken by the illegal gathering of one of their neighbor's cattle and the removal of those cows to the Palomino Valley holding area. They left in the middle of the night to go stand with their neighbor (it was snowing) and simply told me to make myself at home and stay as late as I wanted. That afternoon, upon my arrival, they were just finishing up laying new carpet, and Helen honored me by letting me help with making the salad and homemade spaghetti. When I reach Heaven, she and Wayne will be right up there with my parents to welcome me Home, I pray!

Helen was like a voice crying out in the wilderness. What a great honor to have known her. We are so sad that she left so soon though we know that she is with our Heavenly Father. God Bless the the Keenans, the Hages, the Chenoweths and the entire family. We are so very sorry for your loss. What a blessing to have had such a wonderful person in your midst as long as you did. We grieve so deeply words cannot describe it.
