The chairs where you sat are empty,
Our ears yearn to hear your voice;
To say goodbye was not our choice.
It was hard to let you go,
Even though our faith is oh so strong;
Every day it's for memories of you we long.
Stories that you loved to tell,
Are remembered as easily as the love you shared;
A love that reached out to all
because you so deeply cared.
We have been blessed to have you in our lives,
And you have made this world a better place;
Rest in peace dear man and again some day
We will see you face to face.
