Mrs. Jeanette H. Bowman

Mrs. Jeanette H. Bowman, 59, of East Penn Township, passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of David N. Bowman. They were married for 43 years on Aug. 25 of this year.

She was a homemaker/housewife and formerly worked for WalMart, Lehighton.

Born in Lehighton on Tuesday, May 7, 1963, she was a daughter of Kathryn (Heptner) Simmons Leibenguth of Mahoning Township and the late Charles Simmons, and a stepdaughter of the late LeRoy Leibenguth.

She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Tabitha, wife of Richard Shadler of Lehighton, and a son, David Charles Bowman, and his wife, Roxanne, both of Lehighton; a sister Sandy, wife of Michael Palinchak; two brothers, Paul Simmons, and his wife, Sheila, and Michael Simmons, and his wife, Debbie, of Lehighton; three grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by a brother, Charles Simmons.

Service: Private funeral service and interment at convenience of family. Arrangements by Ovsak Funeral Home, Lehighton. Online condolences can be offered at www.ovsakfh.com.
