Jerome M. Coniglio
Jerome M. Coniglio, 82, of Nesquehoning, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 in St. Luke's Heath Network, Coaldale. He was the husband of the late Jean B. Coniglio, who passed away July 25, 2010.
Born in Nesquehoning, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Malaska) Coniglio.
He was employed as a laborer for Mack Trucks in Allentown for 30 years until retiring.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Coniglio was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, both of Nesquehoning, and a current member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill.
He was also a member of the Nesquehoning VFW Post 8008 and the Nesquehoning American Legion.
Surviving are a daughter, Jobina Coniglio of Summit Hill; a son, Jerome A., and his wife Lisa, of Hillsborough, N.J.; two sisters, Anna Coniglio of Coaldale and Irene McLaughlin of Nesquehoning; two grandchildren, Gianna and Isabella; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Ulshafer and Georgene Coniglio Kennedy; and a brother, Anthony "Hikey" Coniglio.
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, Shrine of St. Therese at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 15 E. Garibaldi Ave., Nesquehoning. Military interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown. Call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Joseph S. Blazosky Funeral Home, 81 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.
