If this is the John Blashock who went to Park Crest Elementary School and has a sister, April, then I knew him.

He was a quiet and gentle little boy who used to draw pictures for the stories I wrote in class in Mrs. Frances' room. We left those stories behind when we moved on to Junior High and our lives moved on in different paths. When my children were small, I used to tell them stories of the little boy who was so good at drawing pictures that he would illustrate the stories I wrote.

My deepest condolences on your loss.

Uncle John, your smile and laugh will always be the first thing I think of when I think of you. Your kindness towards me will never be forgotten. Everytime I saw you, you were busy around the house, whether it was working on the house or fixing a vehicle. I know you helped me with my car a handfull of times, and I Thank You for that. You have a beautiful family, and in God's eyes, thats what matters most. You are very loved by your family, and respected by your peers. To me, thats what life is all about, and you did that.

Rest in Peace Uncle John.
