Larry K. Ritter

Larry K. Ritter, 63, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, in Jim Thorpe.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Norman "Catman" Ritter and Dorothy (Reppert) Ritter.

He worked as a laborer for several companies laying blacktop.

He loved the outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing.

Surviving are two daughters, Bethann and Danielle; a sister Joanne, wife of George Rice; and three grandchildren, Carter, Colton and Madison.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, Christ Lutheran Church, 189 Church Rd., Penn Forest Twp., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. John P. Hassler officiating. Interment will follow the service in Christ Memorial Park, across the road from the church. Viewings 7-9 pm. Monday, Feb. 12, Edward F. Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be sent to the funeral home, 18229.
