Lee Arndt Obituary
Lee C. Arndt, 80, of Bowmanstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Lynne (Klingborg) Arndt, who passed away in 2008.
Born in New Tripoli on Aug. 12, 1945, he was a son of the late Paul and LaRue (Folweiller) Arndt.
Lee was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, who served during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a filler/tester for Wilson Products, Easton, before retiring in 2015. Prior to that, he worked for Cross Country Clothes, Egypt.
Lee was active with the Bowmanstown Baseball Association and was a member of the Bowmanstown Hotel Dart "B" Team and VFW Post 7215, Walnutport.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Joleene, wife of Jack Waddell of Schnecksville; a son, Jared Arndt of Bowmanstown; grandson, Anthony Evangelist; sisters, Betty Kistler and Anna Bauer; sister-in-law, Lisa, wife of Steve Martinez; niece, Ashley Bauer; and nephews, Brett and Ryan Martinez.
Service: Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. A graveside service with military honors will immediately follow in Ebenezer Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lee's name can be made to the Walnutport VFW Post 7215, 208 Cherry St., Walnutport, PA 18088.

"A Navy Vietnam Veteran has passed away today." Lee, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy Vietnam Veteran. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to begin, ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
