Mrs. Lori J. Snyder, 54, of East Penn Township passed away Friday, March 24, at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Robert T. Snyder. They were married for 36 years last Sept. 27, 2016.
Born in Lehigh-ton, she was a daugh-ter of Janet (Kasten) Horn of Lehighton and the late Bernie Horn.
Prior to her illness she was employed at Blue Ridge Pressure Castings as a machine operator. She previously worked at Fegley's Fastfill Mini Market in Lehighton.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Lori was a member of Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club.
She loved spending time with her family, friends and cooking for the local football players and developed the secret BBQ sauce recipe for the "Have Pig Will Travel" family catering business.
In her spare time she enjoyed traveling to Canada to fish with her husband Bobby and the family.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Erin Snyder of Lehighton; three sons, Scott and Matthew Snyder of Lehighton and Daniel Snyder, and his wife Elliana, of Minnesota; two sisters, Debbie, wife of Thomas Steigerwalt, and Melissa Primer of Lehighton; three brothers, LaMar Fronheiser Jr., and his companion Krista Matika of Lansford, Brian Horn, and his companion, Charity, and Richard Horn of Lehighton; a stepsister, Ann Formica of Tamaqua; two stepbrothers, Bernard Horn Jr., and his wife Darlene, of Lehighton, and Joe Horn of Hazleton;nieces, nephews; and Dexter, the family yellow Labrador Retriever.
She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Horn.
Service: A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, at 11 a.m. at the Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, with the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Bannerman officiating. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
