Margaret Moser

Margaret Moser, 91, of Jim Thorpe, passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2025, in her home. She was the widow of Frank Moser Sr.

For most of her life, she was a secretary for the Department of Public Welfare.

Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of Michael and Mary (Tulay) Homyak.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Jim Thorpe, and St. Vladimir's Greek Catholic Church, Palmerton.

She loved to read, cook, garden and sew.

Surviving are two daughters, Marlene Moser and Kathy, wife of Jeff Holt; a son, Frank Moser Jr.; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Christopher and Angela; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by a daughter, Eileen McGlynn.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 526 North St., Jim Thorpe, with Msgr. Vincent York officiating. Interment, parish cemetery, Jim Thorpe. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe.
