Mary E. Hodon

Mrs. Mary E. Hodon, 83, of Second Street, Middleport, died Tuesday, May 3, in Orwigsburg. She was the widow of John G. Hodon, who died in July of 1991.
Born in Middleport, she was a daughter of the late William and Anna (Winervage) Walacavage.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Middleport American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Michael F. of Middleport; two daughters, Agnes, wife of Edward Kane of Tuscarora, and Mary Ann, wife of Paul Rossohocy of Middleport; four grandsons, Derek Hodon and Edward Kane, both of Middleport, Sean Kane of Tuscarora and Brian Kane of Bridgeport; two granddaughters, Paula, wife of Brett Jones of Pottsville, and Sara Hodon of Coaldale; and four great-grandchildren, Averi, Emma, Elizabeth and Cayden.
She was also preceded in death by a son, William G.; a grandson, Brandon Hodon, who died in 2004; a brother William; and a sister, Helen Wojciechowski.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 6, Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
