Morris Miller Obituary
Morris W. Miller, 88, of Andreas, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2023, in the Jewel Health and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown. He was the husband of Eleanor (Haas) Miller, with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage on Dec. 24, 2023.
He was born in West Penn Township, a son of the late Claude and Clara (Miller) Miller. Morris was a Korean War veteran, having served with the U.S. Army.
He was a truck driver for various trucking companies for 47 years and he also later worked at the former K and K Auto Parts Co., Tamaqua.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mary Nester of New Ringgold and Ellen Haas of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by 13 siblings.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2066 W. Penn Pike, New Ringgold. Interment, Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, with Alan Hartman officiating. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday. Online condolences can be offered at www.griffithsfuneralhomes.com.

"A soldier has passed away today." The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. You are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
