Nancy Killian Obituary
She was the owner/operator of Nancy Killian's Beauty Shop, New Ringgold.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Daniel M. and Mamie F. (Leiby) Heisler.
She was a member of Zion Church, Lewistown Valley, Tamaqua, and the secretary of the Christ/Zion Charge, New Ringgold.
The deceased attended Tamaqua High School and received her GED, and was a 1967 graduate of the Empire Beauty School, Pottsville.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Mark J. Jr., and his wife, Jan, of Canton, Pa., and Keith E., and his wife, Colleen, of New Philadelphia; three granddaughters, Desiree J. Killian in Texas and Elizabeth and Kelci Killian, both of New Philadelphia; four grandsons, Dylan, Darren and Daniel Killian, all of Canton, and Kurtis Killian of New Philadelphia; and a sister Arlene, wife of Daniel Reed of LaPlume, Pa.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Nathan D., who died in 1987.
Service: Religious service 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, Zion's Church, 491 Valley Rd., Lewistown Valley, with the Rev. Sunny L. Stock officiating. Call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Hamilton Funeral Home, Orwigsburg, and 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church. Contributions in her name may be made to the Valley Christian Preschool, 491 Valley Rd., Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.

Ian & I only visited Zion intermittently during our visits home, but we were glad to have known you and Nancy. She was a wonderful caring woman. While we here on this side of eternity grieve the loss of a wife, mother, aunt and friend...we rejoice knowing that she is now with Jesus!!! So glad that I will see her again someday...my prayers are with you and your family as you send her home to be with her heavenly father.
