Naomi M. Nace

Naomi M. Nace, 77, of Lehighton, passed away on May 25, 2024, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

Born on Sept. 24, 1946, in Weissport, she was a daughter of the late Jonathan Smith and the late Ellen (Behler) Smith, and was the wife of William Nace, with whom she shared many years of a loving marriage.

Naomi stayed at home to take care of the children and home, as a homemaker. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. In her free time she loved to gather with friends and loved playing bingo!

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Kyle Nace of Palmerton; daughters, Mary Jane Stuckley of Lehighton, Trudy Blew and husband Wesley of Lehighton, Tammy Shook of Lehighton, and Patricia Palka and husband Matthew of Jim Thorpe; sisters, Rose Marie Smale and husband Barry of Kunkletown and Melody Hill and husband Leonard of Andreas; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, William Nace Jr.; brothers, Jonathan Smith III, Kevin Smith and Ronald Smith; a sister, Margaret Searfoss; and a great-grandchild.

Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview St., Lehighton. Interment, Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, Lehighton.
