Randall R. Neeb
Randall Ralph "Randy" Neeb was born on Nov. 8, 1945, in the Palmerton Hospital. He was the son of Ralph "Chubby" Neeb and Florence (Ziegenfus) Neeb.
He was the devoted husband of Jane (Rehrig) Neeb, father of Holly (Neeb) Lang, father-in-law of Jeffery Lang, and loving grandfather of Sarah Jane Lang and Cole Jackson Lang.
Randy passed away peacefully holding the hands of his family on March 10, 2022.
The family is forever thankful to the Lehigh Valley Hospital and the incredible care he received from so many doctors, nurses, and staff members, including hospice.
In addition to his parents, Randy is welcomed home by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Clifford Ziegenfus and Eva Whitner Ziegenfus Stern and Allen Neeb and Mabel Schaffer.
In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, he is survived by his sister, Brenda (Neeb) Ohl.
Randall was a selfless and loving caregiver to his mother, Florence. Following her passing, he and Jane became proprietors of Whippoorwill Camp-ground.
Randy played an active role in this business until the time of his death. He loved to start and even sometimes complete projects on his Kubota, his main mode of transportation. The campground will continue to provide simple joys to generations of campers. He considered his campground friends, too many to name, his family.
Service: The family will hold a visitation at the Andrew P. Ovsak's Funeral Home, 190 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, on Sunday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be a luncheon following the visitation at Franklin Township Fire Co. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Franklin Township Fire Co. or sponsor the planting of a tree or plant as a memorial at Whippoorwill Camp-ground this summer, as we will create a native grove in his memory, near his beloved mountains.
