Rosemary Dugan

Rosemary Dugan, 80, of Lehighton, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospice, Lehighton.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence (Jimmy) and Helen (Nellie) Dugan.

She attended SS. Peter & Paul Parochial School, Lehighton, and graduated from Lehighton High School.

After high school graduation, she worked in the garment industry.

In her early years, she enjoyed riding around in her little red convertible sports car until her disability.

Her son Shawn and her car were her pride and joy.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Raymond and Hugh Dugan; a brother-in-law, Joseph J. Tibensky; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Dugan.

She is survived by a son, Shawn; a sister, Kathleen Tibensky; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Dugan; and nieces and nephews, Kelly Knappenberger (Chris), Kathleen Holland (Tony), Joseph Tibensky Jr., Mary Figura ( Dave), Colleen Weber (Joe), Katy McArdle (Jeff), Hugh Dugan Jr., Caitlin Dugan, Jen Simons and Ryan Dugan (Nicki Scheitrum).

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 260 N. Third St., Lehighton, with the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis officiating, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating. Interment, parish cemetery, Lehighton. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.
