Sandra Fink Obituary
Sandra J. (Haydt) Fink, 52, of Jim Thorpe, formerly of Kunkletown, passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 18, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the companion of Jeffrey "Butch" Yeakel for the last nine years.
After graduating from Palmerton Area High School, Sandy worked as a seamstress for the former Scotty's Fashions, Little Gap, for 20 years. She has since held various positions at Super Fresh, Aldi and Fuel-Up.
Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of Althea M. (Rehrig) Haydt of Kunkletown and the late Warren R. Haydt.
She was a member of the Blue Ridge Pinochle League, East Coast 4-Wheelers and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oplinger-Hower American Legion Post 899, Walnutport.
Surviving in addition to her mother and companion are a son Dale, at home; two sisters, Donna, wife of Douglas Johnson Sr., and Lisa, wife of Ward Willis, both of Kunkletown; two brothers, James, and his wife, Tina, of Deltona, FL, and Gary, and his wife, Donna, of Palmerton; and nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother Dennis.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, T.K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Call 9-11 a.m. Saturday. Contributions may be made to the Sandra Fink Funeral Fund, c/o the funeral home, 18071. www.tk-thomas-fh.com.

How do you say goodbye to one of your best friends? You can't. She was always there for all of us no matter the time of day or night. I first met Sandy at the Fuel Up about a year or so ago. I would stop in for a soda before heading to work. We hit it off immediately and would chat everyday to start my day. Friendship with her was fun and she always made me laugh. God be with Butch and her family at this time. She will be one missed lady. God Bless
