Cindy and Connie,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Shirley and I met @ Hamburg Center on the day we got our physical for work. We car pooled for many years & shared much about our private lives. It was ironic that our mothers died on the same day. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. I will remember her always.

How I will miss Shirley's smile and laugh and our visits with one another - while infrequent, always a joy. On behalf of Shirley's friends and classmates in the Class of 1957 of the Allentown Hospital School of Nursing, may I express our deep sympathies and sadness to Cindy, Connie and their families as well as Shirley's sisters.

Connie, Cindy, and families,

I was so saddened to learn of your mother's passing. She was a terrific person, and I witnessed her compassion and caring when she nursed your aunt at Pinebrook. She also managed to comfort me at the same time as my own parents were failing. Among my fondest childhood memories are the good times we all spent together on Station Road. May God bless you during this difficult time.
