I just saw this. Oh Shirley, God placed you in my life at a young age. You being the Sunday School teacher, and me the student. You were at Waldheim when I gave my adult life over to Christ. That meant so much to me. Will forever remember you and all that you taught and shared with me. Never forgetting the vacation to the shore in NJ with my sister and you. Will definitely see you again in heaven.

It's hard for me to fathom not having Shirley in our lives. She has touched so many of us in very special ways unique to each one of us. I've known her since my youth and cherished her wisdom, humor, but most importantly her faith. She taught me so much about teaching the word of God to others. Her life was an example of a godly woman.

Shirley was very special to me. From being my Sunday school teacher, to my mentor, to being a Godmother to my daughter, she had a great impact on my life. I will miss our rides to Bible study on Wednesdays and her giving me a hug every Sunday morning in church. Shirley was truly a special woman who loved the Lord. I will miss her.

Shirley was a wonderful lady. We first met her in church in 1993. She loved to sing and had such an angelic voice. We will so miss her but will surely see her again in heaven. You are with your lord now. Hugs from Big Al until we see you again.

Shirley was a wonderful lady and will be missed by her brothers and sisters of Christ at LHL. She had a great collection of angels and now is singing with the angels. RIP Shirley.

One of my favorite people ever! I adored Shirley. From her love of our Lord, to the missions field, from her angelic voice to her love of the choir, from her love of the little children to the joy she gave her friends, I will miss her so so much! Who else loves the sweets and the peach iced tea like Shirley. She was our gift from God. And she loved our church! She will not be forgotten. I miss her so so much!

Shirley would sing and her voice was heavenly. I will miss her. She loved Tom Selleck...especially the picture of him strolling out of the ocean. She would say aah. Amazing lady with a zest for life and a love for Jesus.
