Stanley H. Stahler

Stanley H. Stahler, 87, of Slatington, passed away on Dec. 26, 2025, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of the late Ellen J. (Mase) Stahler, with whom he shared many loving years before her passing in 2015.

One of 10 children, Stanley was born to the late Howard and Katie (Miller) Stahler.

Following his graduation from high school, Stanley honorably served our country in the U.S. Army and the National Guard from 1956 to 1964. He went on to work for many years as an electrician at ALPO before retiring.

Stanley enjoyed hunting and was a dedicated Deacon at Bessie Road Baptist Church in Pelzer, S.C., where he previously resided.

Above all, Stanley cherished his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his children, Sarah L., wife of Jonathan Weaber, and Paul I.A. Stahler, and his wife, Michele, both of Slatington, and Jennifer C. Stahler of Bloomingdale, N.J.; grandchildren, Samuel and Joshua Weaber, and Karyana and Gabrielle Stahler; and sisters, Carol Nothstein of Palmerton, Marlene, wife of Gary Miller of Tamaqua, and Burdell Stahler in Illinois.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia E. Stahler.

Services: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Drive, Cherryville. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Private family burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to Bethany Wesleyan Church. Harding Funeral Home, Slatington, is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.
