Mrs. Terry Marie Shipley
Mrs. Terry Marie Shipley, 68, of Main Street, Jim Thorpe, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 14, in her home. She was the wife of Kent D. Shipley. They would have been married 26 years in Dec-ember.
She had worked as a licensed Realtor before retiring.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William Francis and Julia Elizabeth (Fernstler) Caffery.
She was a member of the Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, Jim Thorpe.
She wrote poetry, had a passion for flowers and was a collector of ceramic plates.
Besides her husband, Kent, she is survived by their children, Julia O'Brien, Thomas and Terrance Pavlinsky and Tim Horwath and Sarah DeRemer; a brother, Francis William Caffery; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas Joseph Caffery.
Service: Funeral service 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, Melber Funeral Home, 524 Center St., Jim Thorpe, with the Rev. John P. Hassler officiating. Interment, private. Call 3-4 p.m. Thursday.

I am so sorry to hear about Terry passing away. It was a highlight of my day when she and her husband came into Redners. I always enjoyed talking to her. She will be missed.
