Thomas Davis Obituary
He worked for the former Atlas Powder Co., Reynolds, for 32 years, and last worked and retired from Victaulik Co., Alburtis.
Born in Delano, he was a son of the late Clayton and Alyse (Houser) Davis.
He was a 1962 graduate of Weatherly High School.
Davis served in the Army, having been stationed in Thailand.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Summit Hill.
The deceased was an avid golfer and member of the Atlas Golf League.
Surviving in addition to his widow are four sons, Edward O'Brien, and his fiancée, Deb Assalone, of Stroudsburg, Kevin O'Brien, and his wife, Alicia, of Summit Hill, Pat Davis, and his wife, Helen, of Coaldale, and Craig Davis, and his wife, Beth, of Miami, Fla.; a sister Janet, wife of Mel Smart in South Carolina; four granddaughters, Casey, wife of Tom Goida, Ashley O'Brien, Tatum O'Brien and Megan Davis; two grandsons, Nicholas Davis and Michael Mazzie; a great-granddaughter, Paige Goida; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Fred; and a sister, Nancy Housekenctch.
Service: Memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, with the Rev. Burgess Gordon officiating. Interment at convenience of family. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Wednesday. Contributions in his name may be made to the United Methodist Church, Summit Hill. Online condolences may be signed at www.parambofh.com.
