Thomas Marucci Obituary

Thomas C. Marucci

Thomas C. Marucci, 62, of Andreas, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025. He was the husband of Cheryl Frantz-Marucci, celebrating 16 years of marriage. They married on April 19, 2008.

Tom was a proud 20-year Army Airborne veteran with his airborne wings and was employed as a CDL driver and trainer for Cowan Systems, of Baltimore, MD.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late William M. Sr. and Nancy (Kospiah) Marucci.

He was a member of Ben Salem United Church of Christ, Lehighton, the Andreas VFW Post 5069 and American Legion Post 945, and was a lifetime member of the Andreas Sporting Club.

He loved traveling the world with his wife and he absolutely adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed having lifelong friendships with his Army brothers. He loved sitting around the campfire surrounded by family and great friends. He was an avid fisherman and reader, especially enjoying the outdoors with his wife and grandchildren or being competitive during their board game battles.

A cause important to him was the Valor Clinic of Kunkletown in which he often donated.

Tom will be in our hearts always and forever.

Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Jenna, wife of Jamie Turner; two grandchildren, Liam and Layla Turner of Andreas; and his mother-in-law, Dollie Frantz.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Jr.

Service: Celebration of life service 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, Ben Salem U.C.C., 1965 Church Hill Road, Lehighton, with military honors to be conducted by the Lehighton Area UVO. Visiting will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 W. Penn Pike, Rt. 309, New Ringgold. Dear Cheryl, May your family forever be blessed with memories of joy.

February 12, 2025

We first met Tom and Cheryl on a trip to Italy and it didn´t take long to notice his bigger than life personality. A bit reserved at first but once the ice was broken, his charisma pulled us right into his world. We liked his world because he was caring, loving, teasing, sincere and playful. Our happy and only memories of him were from a short 9 day trip. Tom, we know you are dancing with the stars as we will remember you forever.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

With love, Ann Connolly and Angelo Gaccione
