Timothy P. O'Leary

Timothy P. O'Leary, 70, of Lansford, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Lansford.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Yatsko) O'Leary.

He was a 1973 graduate of Panther Valley High School.

Tim worked as a grocery store clerk at the former Lansford ACME for over 20 years and then worked at the Jim Thorpe Market, where he retired.

He was a member of the former St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lansford, and a current member of St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill.

Tim enjoyed playing recreational basketball, tennis and racquetball. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, having followed the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers.

Surviving are a sister, Carole O'Leary of Ludlow, VT; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a Sister, Judith "Judy" Kosica.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, St. Joseph Parish of the Panther Valley, 462 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
