Toni Reid Obituary
Born in Evanston, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Eric and Wally (Von Rede) Wenstrand.
Toni was a model and actress, having appeared in television commercials, print ads, and movies. She was the subject of a story in the TIMES NEWS in January 2013, "White Owl Girl Roosts in Jim Thorpe."
Toni loved singing jazz music, including open mike nights in New York area clubs. In recent years she was active in local theater in Jim Thorpe and also did volunteer work with local church charities for the homeless and for the community in need.
Surviving are daughters, Erica Von Borstel of Califon, NJ; and Erin and Jennifer Reid of Minneapolis, MN; former husband, Jim Butters; and four grandchildren.
Services: Private service will be held in the future at the family's convenience.
