Willard Ahner Jr.

Willard Ahner Jr., 68, of Parryville, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in his home.

He was a tractor-trailer driver, having worked for many years at Interstate.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Willard and Beatrice (Keiser) Ahner.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a lifetime member of the Franklin Township Fire Company and a member of the Lehighton American Legion.

He loved to ride his motorcycle and enjoyed taking many road trips.

Surviving are a sister Joy, wife of Fritz Lauer of Lehighton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Services: All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Mayes-Melber Funeral Home, Weissport, is in charge of arrangements.
